This route started as a way to scout farmland without booking three separate site visits, and turned into a genuinely good weekend trek on its own.
It loops past three managed farmland properties over roughly fourteen kilometers, with enough elevation change to make it feel earned by the end of day one.
Bring more water than you think you need. The last stretch has no shade at all.
Where to stop
The second farmland on the route allows day visitors without a booking, and it's the best spot for a lunch break — flat ground, shade, and an actual water source.
If land-scouting isn't your goal, it still holds up as a standalone trek — just don't expect much signage once you're off the main road.
